Is my personal information safe? Is your site secure?
The Sharp Image will never share, sell, or otherwise distribute any information, personally identifiable or otherwise, to any third-party. The information you provide will be used only with the express intent of servicing you and processing your order. We do not process or store credit cards through the site, and my web team, 11 Online ensures that this site follows best practices for web security.
What forms of payment do you accept?
The Sharp Image accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover branded credit cards and debit cards via Paypal and the Paypal Here mobile device. The Sharp Image also accepts Zelle transfers, cash*, personal and cashier checks and money orders (payable to The Sharp Image.) Each order will include a 7% sales tax and any applicable shipping cost.
*Local Fairchild AFB/Spokane customers have to option to pay in cash, check or card via PayPal Here mobile swipe at the time of order pickup.
Is my electronic payment information safe?
Yes. All electronic payments are processed via Paypal or Paypal Here mobile device and is protected via Paypal and its security and safety policies and procedures. I do not process credit card transactions directly on my website, instead once your order is sent to me and all parameters of the order are complete and you choose to pay via PayPal, I will email a payment request directly from my PayPal business account.
How can I place an order?
There are three options:
Option 1: Customers can submit an order by filling out the online order form. The online order form allows customers to attach a document or picture of their awards and decorations or customers have the option of typing in their list of awards and decorations in the applicable space provided on the order form.
Option 2: Customers can email or text a document, picture or list of their awards and decorations directly to The Sharp Image to place an order. Email at firstname.lastname@example.org or send a text or call (505) 720-4110.
Option 3: Customers can drop off an order in person. If you wish to place your order in person, please send me a text at (505) 720-4110 to coordinate a good time for you. I do occasionally have to run to the grocery store or get a haircut so please contact me so that I can be available for your visit.
Do I have to order online?
No, you don’t. You can email me directly at email@example.com or call at (505) 720-4110 to place your order or ask any questions you have about placing your order
Do your products come with a guarantee?
Absolutely. I want my customers to be 100% satisfied with their order. If you are not satisfied with your order, please return items from your order for a full refund or remake of your order.
Where do you ship to?
The Sharp Image ships to all 50 states, FPO, and APO addresses. Fed Ex® and UPS® international shipping may not accept an APO or FPO address and could require a physical location address for delivery. The Sharp Image uses USPS Priority® and Express®, Fed Ex® and UPS® for shipping orders. USPS Priority® mail is $9.00, USPS Express Mail® is $27.95. Fed Ex® and UPS® shipping rates vary depending on customer zip code.
Do your ribbons and medals adhere to service standards?
Yes. I only use verified suppliers of ribbon, medal and device attachments.
I have prior service with one or multiple branches of the armed forces and some of my decorations are not listed in order or missing.
If you have service with one or more branches of the armed forces and have earned decorations that are not on your personnel record that is attached to the order form, please add any missing decorations on the comment portion of the order form. Your order will be reviewed to ensure that prior service decorations with your previous branch are in the correct order of precedence.
How do you process future updates to ribbon and medal sets?
Device updates are free on sets made by The Sharp Image (customer incurs to and from shipping charges if you need to mail ribbon or medals sets for device updates). If you require a device update on a set not made by me, it is $.75 per device update (plus to/from shipping charges). If you need to add a ribbon to a set made by The Sharp Image and as long as the new ribbon is going within the top two rows, there is a $6.50 charge plus tax to add the new ribbon and remount the set ($2.50 for the new ribbon and $4.00 to mount the rest of the set on a new backing) Unfortunately, I can’t add ribbons to sets not made by The Sharp Image. Although, other company’s flat mounted ribbon sets are very similar, we all use different materials, so it makes it difficult to reassemble the set when adding a ribbon to a different company’s set. Adding a large or mini medal to a set made by The Sharp Image is different. I can add a medal to a set, no matter where the new medal is going within the order of precedence. If the medal set was not made by The Sharp Image and you wish to add a medal, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (505) 720-4110.
How long does it take to get my order?
Most orders are completed and ready to ship or for pick-up within 4-5 days. Sometimes this varies depending on the amount of orders and seasonal influxes. For example, in January and February of every year units hold annual awards banquets and in the fall months, each service celebrates with anniversary balls and banquets. These factors can have an effect on order completion time. Please ensure to you fill in the “date needed by” box on the order form to ensure you receive your purchase in time.
Do you offer express service?
Yes I do. If you are requesting an order to be completed and shipped within 1-2 days, the charge is $5.00 per set for ribbons and $10.00 per set for medals (Large or Mini.) I prefer to work rush orders on a case-by-case basis so please contact me directly at email@example.com or (505) 720-4110 if you need a rush order.
Do you ship to overseas APO/FPO?
Yes I do. I can mail to any address that accepts priority mail and express mail. If you wish to use either FedEx or UPS, you may need to enter in a physical address rather than a P.O. box as these carriers may not ship to an APO/FPO box. In my experience, overseas customer wishing to use FedEx or UPS has either had their order shipped directly to their home overseas or their work address (on installation).
Do you have all state ribbons for guard personnel?
If I don’t have a specific state ribbon you need, I have many supply channels to obtain the ribbon(s) you need. Currently, I stock all active duty ribbons/medals for all four service branches and the Coast Guard and I hope to start building my inventory of state guard ribbons. This will take some time as there are over 900 state guard ribbons out there and supply sources are somewhat challenging.

How can I add a foreign service decoration presented by a foreign nation that is authorized on my uniform?
Foreign decorations (other than those displayed on approved US ribbon charts) are sometimes hard to obtain; however, if you have the materials, you can mail the material (ribbon or medal) to me and I can add it to your set. Otherwise, if you have the name and description, I have many resources available to find the material to purchase. Please contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about adding an uncommon foreign decoration to your ribbon or medal set.
