Owner, The Sharp Image
Company History
I started making ribbon and medals sets over 22 years ago with 100% of my customer base coming from word-of-mouth recommendations. My goal when starting this company was to make exceptional and affordable products for my fellow military members, retired veterans, and family members who wanted to recognize their loved ones (past and present) for their service. Since 2001, I have researched and studied all military service medals, ribbons and decorations to ensure that your ribbon and medal sets are made in accordance with DoD uniform regulations. I review each order for accuracy and order of precedence directly engage with my customers to clarify and ensure their order is correct.
I also do shadowbox arrangements for local customers. I take pride in spending time with those customers discussing layouts and creative ideas when it comes to commemorating ones service with the tradition of a military shadowbox. My next goal was to accomplish having a website built to further expand my customer base and to help expedite the ordering process for my customers. I implore feedback….good, bad or indifferent on your customer service experience with my company, so please give me feedback on how this website is working for you.
Why choose The Sharp Image?
My own personal pride goes into each order completed and 100% customer satisfaction is my #1 goal. I know many of my competitors have fancy websites where you select ribbons and your set is built within your shopping cart and you can place and pay for your order directly on the site but my hope is that your customer experience and the quality products you receive from The Sharp Image will earn your loyalty and patronage for years to come.
Military Experience
I was in the United States Air Force for 21 years before retiring in 2010 and served in a variety of career fields to include Security Forces, Air Force Historian, Noncommissioned Officer Academy Instructor and executive assistant to the 377th Air Base Wing Command Chief Master Sergeant. I have been stationed at some great locations Ramstein AB, Germany; F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming; Hickam AFB, Hawaii; Peterson AFB, Colorado; Keflavik Naval Air Station, Iceland; and Kirtland AFB, New Mexico, where I retired and now reside. I am married to JD Morgan, USAF, retired and have two children, my daughter Taylor and son Conner. After retiring, I joined the civil service ranks for four years, first as a Protocol Specialist and then a Public Affairs Specialist at Kirtland AFB. In August of 2014, I left my civil service job to pursue the dream of expanding this business to a full time operation and as of August 2018, my husband and I moved to Washington near Fairchild Air Force Base.
Thank You
I can’t say enough how much I enjoy making ribbons and medals for service members. Your medals and ribbons are part of your service story, and I love being a part of you displaying that story on your uniform or in your shadowbox. From one veteran to another, Thank you for your service and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your Army, Navy, Marine, Air Force, Coast Guard and Space Force careers.
